- Minto proposes 942-home Quinn’s Pointe expansion on Barnsdale Road. Minto Group has filed plans for a 942-unit subdivision on Barnsdale Road east of Highway 416 at Barrhaven’s southwestern edge. The proposal would extend Quinn’s Pointe with 448 single-detached homes, 396 townhouses and 98 back-to-back townhouses. - Bank of Canada holds policy rate at 2.25%. The Bank of Canada held its target for the overnight rate at 2.25% on July 15. - Ontario, 2026: CREA says Ontario is the only province forecast to see annual sales increase in 2026; Ontario prices are forecast to decline by less than 1%. No Barrhaven-specific forecast is published.
CREA said its national sales forecast was revised slightly lower to reflect a weak first half of 2026 and a delayed start to the recovery.
