No curbside green bin, recycling, garbage or bulky item collection on Monday, August 3; that pickup is Tuesday, August 4 and collection stays one day late for the rest of the week. OC Transpo runs a Saturday schedule with enhanced peak service on route 74. All Ottawa Public Library branches are closed. Minto Recreation Complex Barrhaven is open 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Walter Baker Sports Centre is closed, and Nepean Sportsplex runs its Aquatics Centre 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Athletics Centre 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Scott Street closure detours route 75 and four other routes

Scott Street closes between Bayview Station Road and Parkdale Avenue Monday, July 27 at 7 a.m. for watermain repairs. OC Transpo detours routes 12, 13, 57, 61 and 75 in both directions by way of Bayview Station Road, Burnside Avenue and Parkdale Avenue, and the City says those routes may experience some delays. Stops 7332, 8045, 7334 and 7333 close, with temporary stops on the detour. The City says the street is scheduled to reopen Sunday, August 2 at 5 a.m. for IRONMAN Canada-Ottawa and may close again Tuesday, August 4 if work is not finished.
