Councillor asks City to revisit small renovation-waste rules

Councillor Wilson Lo says he has filed a formal inquiry asking City staff to outline options for accepting small amounts of construction and renovation waste at the curb. His June 23 newsletter says residents doing small projects can currently face landfill disposal requirements and a Trail Road flat rate for construction/renovation waste under 250 kilograms; staff are expected to respond over the summer, with any action likely after the next Council term begins.
