A Tyler Watt MPP letter page requesting provincial disaster assessment and Disaster Recovery Assistance for Ottawa after the Canada Day storm.
Tyler Watt, MPP

Nepean MPP Tyler Watt says he signed an open letter with Ottawa MPPs and councillors asking the province to deploy a Provincial Disaster Assessment Team to Ottawa after the Canada Day storm. The July 3 letter says the storm brought record-breaking rainfall, significant flooding and outages, and asks the province to activate Disaster Recovery Assistance for Ontarians if the eligibility criteria are met; Barrhaven councillors Wilson Lo and David Hill are listed among the signatories.
