Ottawa residents aged 18 to 30 can apply for up to $2,000 through the City’s Youth in Culture program to support arts, culture or heritage career goals. The City says Anishinaabe Algonquin applicants who live within 150 kilometres of Ottawa are also eligible.

The City accepts written, audio and video applications through its cultural funding portal. Applications are due by 4 p.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday, October 7.

The program is a funding opportunity, not automatic support: applicants should review the City’s eligibility and application information before applying.
