Missing Longfields sidewalk link opens after resident push

Councillor Wilson Lo’s June 30 newsletter says construction is complete on the missing sidewalk section on the west side of Longfields Drive between Via Verona Avenue and Via Chianti Grove. Lo says the link had an unofficial opening over the weekend after residents raised the gap at a town hall last autumn — a small but concrete walkability fix for the Longfields/Via Verona area.
