The City of Ottawa says Lalande Conservation Park will reopen in phases after a wildlife response tied to a family of coyotes with three pups. The paved pathway between Plainridge Crescent and Nantes Street reopens Friday, June 26, while barricades remain for the rest of the park; the City expects a full reopening by Saturday, July 4, but says plans may change as staff continue monitoring. Dogs must be kept on leash, and residents should report concerning coyote behaviour to 3-1-1 or call 9-1-1 for an immediate threat.
