Police say charge laid after fatal Fallowfield collision

Ottawa Citizen reports, citing Ottawa Police Service, that a man in his 40s has been charged with careless driving causing death after a May 11 collision involving a single vehicle and a pedestrian at Fallowfield Road and Via Park Place near the Fallowfield Park & Ride. The pedestrian was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and died on May 17.
