The City of Ottawa says recovery information sessions for residents affected by the July 1 extreme weather event will continue from July 20 to 25. City staff and partners, including the Canadian Red Cross, will be available to answer questions about flooded-home cleanup, insurance and case management, health and wellness supports, grants, permits and waste disposal. Sessions run at Ben Franklin Place, 101 Centrepointe Drive, on July 20 from 2 to 6 p.m., July 22 from 4 to 8 p.m., July 23 and 24 from 2 to 6 p.m., and July 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Maki House, 19 Leeming Drive, hosts a July 21 session from 2 to 6 p.m.
