The City of Ottawa says it will hold an in-depth community briefing and information session for residents affected by the July 1 extreme weather event on Sunday, July 12, from 1 to 5 pm, in the main entrance of Ben Franklin Place at 101 Centrepointe Drive. City staff and partners are expected to have information booths on waste disposal, flooded-home cleanup health and safety, building codes and permits, reporting basement flooding or damaged infrastructure, support programs and insurance processing.
