Carney opens Canada Day in Nepean at Clarke Fields

Nepean MP and Prime Minister Mark Carney’s constituency office says he attended the Barrhaven West Community Association’s annual Canada Day festival at Clarke Fields Park with Diana Fox Carney, meeting residents and local organizations, flipping pancakes and helping serve breakfast. The July 2 update says Heritage Canada provided about $20,000 in federal funding for the Barrhaven Canada Day event, and lists local booths and representatives from the Barrhaven Seniors’ Council, Pinhey’s Point Historic Site, Mattamy Homes’ Nepean office, the Barrhaven West Community Association, MPP Tyler Watt and councillors Wilson Lo and David Hill.
