Cardel Recreation Centre slated for energy-efficiency retrofit

The City of Ottawa says Cardel Recreation Centre is among the municipal facilities receiving climate-retrofit upgrades as part of its broader building-efficiency program. The planned work would replace a natural-gas dehumidification unit with a new electric desiccant dehumidifier, which the City says will reduce greenhouse-gas emissions by 27 tonnes of CO2 annually.
