Canada Day shifts curbside waste collection by one day

The City of Ottawa says there will be no curbside green-bin, recycling, garbage or bulky-item collection on Wednesday, July 1 for Canada Day. Pickup moves to Thursday, July 2, with curbside collection delayed by one day for the rest of the week; the Trail Waste Facility landfill is listed as open July 1 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
