Barrhaven’s Canada Day celebration opens today at Clarke Fields

Canada Day Barrhaven starts its two-day Clarke Fields celebration today, with the official schedule listing a classic car show from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and a country-music lineup from mid-afternoon into the evening. The July 1 program follows with family activities, food vendors, main-stage programming and fireworks scheduled for 10 p.m.; organizers remind visitors there is no on-site parking.
