Build Canada Homes, a new federal housing agency, will deliver 118 non-profit affordable family homes at Geyser Place in Barrhaven, the office of Nepean MP Mark Carney announced. The Barrhaven development is one of eight projects the agency has approved across Ottawa, together totalling more than 1,100 rental homes, built using modern construction methods and a Buy-Canadian supply chain. The homes are aimed at lower-income families in the riding.
