Accessible Ottawa Award nominations open until September 2

The City of Ottawa is accepting nominations for the 2026 Accessible Ottawa Award, which recognizes one individual and one organization for work that removes barriers and advances accessibility. Nominations can be submitted for Ottawa businesses, organizations or residents until Wednesday, September 2 at 11:59 p.m.; the City says the awards will be presented at its annual International Day of Persons with Disabilities event at City Hall on or around December 3.
